stanleyReisnerRing(Fan) -- Give the Stanley–Reisner ring of a fan.

Usage:

SR = stanleyReisnerRing Phi
Inputs:
- Phi, an instance of the type Fan,
Outputs:
- SR, a ring, The Stanley–Reisner Ring of Phi

Description

Returns the Stanley–Reisner Ring of a fan, whose variables are indexed by the rays.

i1 : SR = stanleyReisnerRing normalFan hypercube 2

o1 = SR

o1 : QuotientRing
